Q.	What is Domain Name?

Ans.	A domain name is the text name corresponding to the numeric IP address of a computer on the Internet. A domain name must be unique. Internet users access your website using your domain name. download The process of copying files, information and images from the Internet to your computer.

Q.	What does it mean to "register" a domain name?

Ans.	When you register a domain name, you are inserting an entry into a directory of all the domain names and their corresponding computers on the Internet and you can browse your website using your domain name.

How do I register a domain name?

When I buy a domain, who owns it?

Ans.

If you purchase a domain from us, you are the owner (registrant) of the domain during the registration. You have the total control of your domain name and you can make modifications, transfers, or sell the domain name at any time during your registration. The Organization contact you choose for the domain will be displayed in WHOIS as the registrant of the domain.

Can I register a domain name if I am not ready to sign up for hosting yet?

Ans.

Yes you can. If you want you can register domain from us without using our hosting service.

Do you provide any control panel for your clients?

Ans.

Yes we do. With domain registration we provide a control panel for the clients. Clients can easily change the Nameserver, contact or technical details etc.

How long does it take before my domain name is active?

Ans.

After registering your domain, it requires your domain to get propagated in the servers worldwide. This usually takes 24 hours but in no case more than 72 hours. During this time the domain will not be available.

How long does a registration last?

Ans.

The minimum registration period is 1 year and it can be for 10 years maximum.

I've already registered a domain name with other registrar. Can i transfer it to yours?

Ans.

Yes you can. All you need to pay is the transfer fees of Tk.695. We will send you a transfer request to your email and upon your approval, we will change the registrar. Be informed that, the transfer fee will add one more year of renewal increment to your domain.

Who will be responsible to renew my domain name?

Ans.

You will be responsible for the renewal of your domain. However we will start sending you renewal reminder emails from 45 days to expiration.

Ans.	Disk space is the size your website can be. Bandwidth/Transfer is the amount of data the server will allow your site to send in a month. Transfer is usually measured in gigabytes.

Q.	Which hosting should i choose- Linux or Windows?

Ans.	Yes, we do support ASP and PHP both on Linux and Windows hosting.

Q.	Do you support MySQL and MS SQL Server?

Ans.	Yes, we do support both MySQL and SQL Server. MySQL is available in both Linux and Windows hosting and MS SQL server is available in Windows hosting.

Q.	Do I get POP and Web access of my emails?

Ans.	Yes we provide both web and pop access for all the hosting packages.

Q.	How long will it take to active my account?

Ans.	It won't take more than 5 minutes once we have received your payment. However, if you register a domain, then you will need about 24-48 hours to view your site.

Q.	How many times I can update my site?

Ans.	As many time as you want or you can. You have 24 hours FTP access to your account.

Q.	Do you provide any uptime guarantee?

Ans.	Yes we do provide 99.99% uptime guarantee.

Q.	Will you upload my site for me?
Ans.	No we won't. You are responsible to do this yourself as it is a part of the web development, not web hosting service. However, we can upload files for you for a nominal charge of Tk.200 per MB.
